Today, I have had the pleasure of testing out a new AI music generator that is making waves online – Udio. As an educator who is always exploring how AI tools can be integrated into the classroom, I believe Udio is a promising candidate !The process begins with students crafting a text prompt. Udio then takes this prompt and transforms it into a song, complete with lyrics and music. Once the song is generated, students can analyze the lyrics, identifying various poetic devices they observe. Furthermore, Udio encourages creativity, allowing students to rewrite the lyrics or modify lines to their liking. This interactive approach not only makes learning fun but also enhances students’ understanding of poetic devices and lyric composition:)
