As an educator, I have always been fascinated by the potential of AI. Every time I create a project for my students, I start with the creation of an AI chatbot. These chatbots serve as interactive learning tools, engaging students in a dynamic conversation and providing them with personalized feedback and resources.
This month and the next, our focus area is sustainability. Sustainability is a crucial topic that needs to be addressed urgently, and what better way to do it than through education? To this end, I have created two AI chatbots using Zapier – one on sustainable fashion and another one on sustainable food.
The sustainable fashion chatbot provides information about the environmental impact of the fashion industry, sustainable fabrics, and offers tips on how to make more sustainable choices, to name just a few.
The sustainable food chatbot, on the other hand, educates students about the importance of sustainable farming practices and healthy eating habits.
These chatbots are not just tools for learning; they are catalysts for change. They encourage students to think critically about the world around them, give students personalized learning, and inspire them to take action towards a more sustainable future.
However, the benefits of AI in education go beyond individual classrooms. By allowing students to learn at their own pace and in their environment, AI has the potential to democratize education and make it more accessible to all.
